Technically, one of the reasons printmaking is interesting for me is the variety of methods available (and they are still evolving). They can be quite seductive – computer with traditional, industrial with traditional and all the mixes in between. However seductive, they often get in the way if one requires more than simple technical competence.The challenge is to add something, perhaps somewhat indefinable to the equation. That’s the real challenge.
